Few things match the supple, mellow feel of real leather — and the best thing about patent leather is that it doesn't even try. laverneinteriors I love this! I recently got barstools for my kitchen island and did them in patent leather and they not only look fantastic but are so easy to clean and maintain.

marcie31 The patent leather wall looks like it has a bit of padding behind it, otherwise the nailheads wouldn't look right. That would also help make a smoother look. All these ideas are great - unless you have a cat or children. lol.
