Carmel California Getaway
By the time I was 18, I lived in 6 different homes. My parents continually bought homes that needed to be remodeled, fixed up and then sold. Hence, I am a house junkie, slowly remodeling and refurbishing our 1925 bungalow home in Northern California.
I am also the co-founder of Silicon Valley Moms Blog http://www.svmoms.com

| Attention to detail was crucial. The aged roof tile was imported from Italy. Building was even delayed until several shipments of unbroken tile arrived safely.

There are no street lights nor addresses in Carmel By The Sea. Each home is unique and often given a name of its own. Perhaps this home will be named "Piece Of Mind", since the home owner is a Clinical Psychologist. In the mean time, it inspires many fantasies. |

Where else can you get fish tacos, nestle into the beach, and visit Tiffany's in one afternoon? We recently took a Saturday trip from Stanford to Carmel and it is truly one of the most amazing "beach towns" to ever visit. Thanks for the ideabook.

Yes.... Carmel is quite magical and special. I now understand why so many retirees move to Carmel - or so many people from the bay area choose Carmel as a second home. It really soothed the mind, body and soul....

Carmel is truly an excellent place to "housepeep" and wouldn't it be a dream come true to be able to have a home there by the sea.
