A new small butler's kitchen behind the bar makes a convenient space for organizing snacks and drinks for parties. "I love my new bar area," Golman says. "It was my dream to tear down the walls and create a bar area where everyone could stand during parties."
Built-in bookshelves create an ideal backdrop for the couple's collection of art and antiques.

Golman loves clean lines and simple backgrounds. "I enjoy tailored looks," she says. "In many ways I design like I dress. I utilize monochromatic color schemes, adding in pops of color to add uniqueness to a space."
She found these blue leather tufted armchairs from Mecox Gardens and paired them with a colorful painting of her favorite flower, a peony.

Golman brought the white quartz from the bar into the kitchen countertops. Combined with maple cabinets and a blue glass mosaic backsplash, it makes the space feel fresh.

The home's original layout was divided into small spaces. Golman and the architects opened up these spaces to make the home feel larger and more entertainment friendly. This formal living room, set right behind the dining room, takes advantage of one of these smaller spaces.
