Samantha Schoech Ha! Guilty as charged.

montanagal Drat. I have several of these. That's hilarious.

Roots and Rafters Guilty as charged re: the vintage camera display. I have an old Instamatic I found at a garage sale. That makes it alright, doesn't it?

S. Thomas Kutch Dang.... not a single one.........does that make me square?
lindseyakin yay! (I think) - I don't have any of these! or does that make my house out of date and style? :-)

davisislands Yes! I have none of the above!

Becky Harris So funny! I think "trophy (that you did not win)" is my favorite. Your drawings are so charming, I just love them.

Mary_Anne Walser Awesome! Love this! A few more: Sputnik fixture; industrial style straight pull door handles; a tangerine or acid green couch. Love your drawings! You should do a book :)

jenberry72 I have 4 of the above-mentioned and wanted 2 others...I think I'll stop now.

typingmonkey Really cute. And yes, I have the trophy.

theresatron add to that cardboard "taxidermy" fish and "hacked" ikea furniture!

Darzy Darn. I'm not so hip. Not a one! Love your drawings!

Lanie Brown Yes, S. Thomas, and it's hip to be square. Someone had to actually win the trophy to begin with, right?

edmarch I may be joining the hipster collective in the near future. Thinking of getting a terrarium (gasp!) of succulents and a DIY cluster of filament pendants.

Mercy Me LOL!! No hipster stuff except the two vintage cameras passed down to my husband, who coincidentally just retired as a news photo editor and photographer. He still hasn't forgiven me for persuading him to give away his old, but still working, Remington manual typewriter which he used as a journalism student more than 45 years ago!

looneybin1980 I definitely want to use the antler coat rack idea!!!

summilux Frame clusters both at home and at work but no brick wall (thought's crossed me mind but getting the bricks right is beyond the scope of my practice). Several film cameras that work and are used- not on display. Thus more an anachronism than a hipster. BTW- cute satire.

kamato25 Guilty! I have two of the above.

lafiori I dont have those but I want too. So..I'm a wannabe hipster..haha

Sabrina Silvernale Well, I have some of these and long for more. Don't care that they're trendy. They are not costly and can be changed out whenever my design subconsciousness is wooed elsewhere. The bones of our home are true to our family style and can take a few whimsical changes now and then. Besides, my Brownie camera took all my childhood vacation and holiday photos. It has its shelf of honor. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. What's next? Illustrations, please!

Jackie Nooner I aspire to have at least 9 of the above. No shame in my game! Seriously, we all know that a lot of the 'hipster' objects d art are recycled from earlier gens. And a lot of those objects, I like. They'll be out of style in about 8 years but I'll still like my scene man.

Erica Smith_Bouc I have several of these items- i.e. Fruit crate shelves and butterfly taxidermy- but I've had them for years, and they were hand me downs from my mother in law who's had them since the '50s! I guess I didn't even realize they were particularly hip!
Barnhart Gallery Sure, but...if I've had many of these for years before their proliferation, doesn't that make me a trendsetter? :)
Mel Grima I have seven of these and am on the hunt for a tub and faux antlers for display. And all this time I thought hipster was a dirty word! Who knew it meant fabulously nostalgic chic! =D

eclarep This is the best!
We must remain ever-vigilant against the contagion that is hipsterism.

shagelau I wonder why it's considered "bad" to have some of these? Of course, you had to have had them BEFORE someone told you to! I have had my air plants for ages, my wine crate collection for as long as my eldest has been alive (long time ago, trust me), typography of all sorts since my first apartment in 1989 and my suitcase collection begun to solve a mid-century starter home storage shortage in a cute way - Lady Baltimore blue cases of all sorts are just freaking cute. I'm not a hipster - I'm an ORIGINATOR!
