Brad and Tiffany Ross believe there's a place where Versailles, granny chic and midcentury modern can all live together. As owners of Swanky Couch, a vintage furniture dealing and styling company, they applied this decorating mix to their Frisco, Texas, home. They gutted and remodeled everything from the bathrooms, garage and patio to the floors and light fixtures, while successfully incorporating their French-inspired vintage-eclectic flair into every room.

Closing up what was originally a patio, Brad and Tiffany turned the newfound square footage into a cozy media room. The chesterfield sofa and tufted chairs were found in consignment shops, and the pendant lights were discarded during a family member's remodel.

| Tiffany is a self-proclaimed "chandelier-oholic," and more than a dozen chandeliers hang throughout the house. This Craigslist-found dining room fixture is one of her favorites. She loves the juxtaposition of a large chandelier in a small space. Brad and Tiffany added the mirrored wall with antique brass rosettes to visually enlarge the room. Tiffany always wanted an organ at home to remind her of her mother, an accomplished organist. Brad found this one at an estate sale. It's positioned between the living room and dining room, an ideal location for entertaining guests at parties.

The couple personalized their small breakfast area with a revamped dinette set from an estate sale and artwork they collected on their honeymoon. They found the deer head, named Clive, while Dumpster diving. "You have to really love the hunt!" says Tiffany.

| In the open-plan great room, the curve of the green velvet sofa creates balance within the space and allows for an easy flow between rooms. The bold, deep wall color and rich, velvety fabrics enhance the room's vintage feel. The couple reused the mirror hanging above the sofa after removing it from their remodeled master bathroom and reframing it.

| The bathroom has a salvaged shower door instead of seamless glass. Brad painted and sealed the door multiple times to protect it from water damage. The vanity is custom made from an old sewing cabinet. The plumbing had to be turned at an angle to accommodate the narrow cabinet, but the piece has an unexpected quality that fits the couple's style. |

Brad and Tiffany replaced the original wall-size mirror with an eclectic collection of found mirrors to create this charming vignette in the master bath. They found the dresser at an estate sale and turned it into a lovely vanity by adding the white basin and marble slab.

| As the couple's business, Swanky Couch, grows, so does their need for storage. They recently turned their garage into a showroom, where they can bring potential clients in to look at their most recent finds. The couple also owns space in the Frisco Mercantile, where they sell and rent from their vintage collection. |

This isn't a house it's a life, it's a journey. That's what our homes should encompass. X
I love the use of a door as a shower screen, I challenge anyone to recoil from that. Genius!
Having had a home in Spain and family in Germany I don't believe your comment regarding Europe holds much credence.
But this breaks a few rules and really stands out. I love the bedrooms, the main with it's unapologetic 50's themed vibe, and the pastel colours and the daughter's room is gorgeous too. I love that the kitchen and bathrooms are sleek and practical and modern with just a few touches of vintage interest. I love the collection of mirrors in the bathroom and the collection of candlesticks on the mantel. Practical and beautiful. I think these people really have a great sense of style and a good eye for choosing furniture. I love the patterned rugs and floral carpet too. It looks very comfortable and that mid century dining suite is to die for..
