Houzz Call: Share Your Favorite Christmas Tradition
Is there one thing you do, watch or eat that heralds the arrival of Christmas? Post a photo and let us know!
Houzz Contributor. Hi There! I currently live in a 1920s cottage in Atlanta that I'll describe as "collected." I got into design via Landscape Architecture, which I studied at the University of Virginia. I've been writing about design online for quite a few years over at Hatch: The Design Public Blog.

We've seen all the gorgeous Christmas trees, beautifully appointed mantels and wreath-bedecked front doors, and we love them. However, we'd like to know what your family's unique Christmas traditions are. What is the one thing you pull out of the attic that makes you know it's Christmas? Do your kids look for the Elf on the Shelf? Do you pull out National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and laugh at the Griswolds? Please share your tradition with us in the Comments section. Post a picture and your tradition could be used in a future Houzz ideabook.
Perhaps you pull out a favorite book that gets the kids even more excited about the impending holiday. What's your favorite?
