FOCAL POINT STYLING These are pretty toppers. Growing up, we used a stainless steel star my grandfather made (he worked in a steel mill in NJ)... and for a while, I used a vintage "burst" that was given to me by a good friend... But the past few years, I've been using pheasant feathers and LOVE it! Have a wonderful holiday season! Merry Christmas!

bubblyjock hmmm....no irony in a German-made peace sign topping a Christmas tree whatsoever!

patscats2 Growing up we had one of those vintage toppers like the Llsmore, only cheap plastic. LOL Now I like to see angels or stars for tree toppers.

silverprincess You missed my absolute favourite tree topper (one I can't get my hands on -yet- because I live outside of the USA in Australia mind you) from Wendell August Forge. They make a beautiful snowflake star that I hope to own one day. You could also chose a hammered star, engraved nativity scene star or even an engraved angel. I do have to say that the peace sign is the most ridiculous inappropriate tree topper given that the peace sign origins as based on a broken upside-down cross that ridicules the beliefs of Christians. To celebrate Christmas and the birth of Jesus by including a version of the cross that Jesus died on that ridicules him? Pottery Barn has got this wrong! The aluminium stars by Wendell August Forge are a much better choice. http://www.wendellaugust.com/category/christmas-tree-toppers. Beautiful without being delicate!

agiesbrecht # 1 is a Froebel Star.

And anybody handy with paper, scissors, and glue can make a Moravian star in any color and any size they wish. I made myself a big red, yellow, and white one - far too big for my tree, but great for hanging from the ceiling!
