Chalkboard Tray by Halle's House - $19.00 [ Link ]
These chalkboard trays have been popping up in the DIY circuit lately. I think they'd be so fun for a cheese platter. I could just label all the exotic cheeses instead of repeating myself all night long.

Sur La Sorgue Serving Platter - $178.00 [ Link ]
I have a thing for pieces that are handmade. These are completely flat and are slightly reminiscent of lace. I want some macaroons or other holiday cookies to tower up on a plate like this.

Rosseto Liteware Party Dishes, Arc Style Serving Plates, Black - $24.99 [ Link ]
I struggle with plastic plates — I hate the idea of throwing them away, and I hate the way they look. The convenience, however, is a factor. These arch plastic plates are very stylish and can be washed for a few uses. Plus, they come in a set of 50, making locating and storing plates for all your dinner guests much, much easier.

Rhonda Kieson Designs This is an excellent idea for those of us who like to sample so many different foods. This year, I am hosting a "tasting party" on Christmas Eve and will be preparing no less than twelve desserts served in (and on) miniscule glasses and plates. It should be interesting. Will definitely be taking some pictures!

Rhonda Kieson Designs The dessert buffet with all the "tastings" was a huge success! Here are some pictures of how the table appeared. My guests could have three or four different desserts . . . without the guilt. What fun!!!
