4. Dream Nashville tree house. Nearly every kid wants a tree house, and it's hard to dream up one better than this. The mix of modern design and pure playfulness (such as the bucket for raising and lowering treasures) makes for a dream two-story getaway.

5. Pink and purple done right in Connecticut. Purple and pink don't have to accompany an outrageous design. Houzzers saved this photo for its timeless take on two feminine colors.

7. Lofted playspace in Massachusetts. Kids love secret hideaways, like this loft built for a girl. A homework station below and a playspace above help divide work time and playtime.

| 8. Colorado cabin kids' room. This dark sleepover space has just enough of a dungeon vibe to feel fun but not spooky. Stone walls, weathered wood and iron railings flow with the rest of the cabin's style. |

| 9. Sophisticated San Francisco nursery. Houzzers couldn't get enough of the graphic patterns and playful colors in this nursery for a baby girl. While most of the furnishings could work in a master bedroom, the pom-poms and other fun touches keep the room youthful. |

The design would have been better if the landing zone was not right above the kitchen since the heavy drops on occassion blow out a pot light's bulb.
I planned this from the framing stage and double up the rafters and used some heavy duty gate hardware and turn buckles to lock the anchor to the ceiling.
It's shocking how many kids are so out of shape. Many of my daughters friends are not strong enough to do a flip. Weak core strength. These rings are good to go rain or shine and provide my kids lots of fun when their "Bored".

In our playroom, I wanted a place to help my kids organize their toys easily, but still wanted the space to be pretty. My goal was to make the space functional, cheerful and very kid friendly. Everything has a place, which makes clean up a lot easier for my children and myself! It's definitely a space in our home that makes me smile :)
