Linen Waffle Towels, White - $10.00 [ Link ]
These white linen waffle towels would leave me feeling like I'd stepped out of a spa tub after every single bath. I've never used linen bath towels before, but I use them in the kitchen and they were my favorite household addition last year.

Reclaimed Wood Tub Caddy by Peg and Awl - $155.00 [ Link ]
No luxurious bath would be complete without a bathtub caddy for holding cups of tea and a good book.
by Etsy
Holbrook Medicine Cabinet - $548.00 [ Link ]
Rental apartments can be hit or miss when it comes to bathroom accoutrements. I'm afraid that my current mirrored cabinet is a far cry from this beauty.
by Rejuvenation
Dressing Ladder - $160.00 [ Link ]
The idea of a dressing ladder is as luxurious as it is practical. If I had the space in my bathroom, I'd prop this simple ladder against the wall and hang my hand towels from the top rung and my pajamas-in-waiting on the bottom two.
by Joinery
Reflections Toothbrushes - $13.00 [ Link ]
Only beautiful toothbrushes would be allowed in my dream bathroom.
by Green Tree Boutique
Ceramic Toilet Brush Holder - $24.00 [ Link ]
Finding a simple toilet brush holder is serious business. This ceramic one from West Elm is one of the nicest I've seen.
by West Elm
Toilet Brush - $16.00 [ Link ]
Paired with the ceramic holder, this wooden brush would make a complete set.

Wire Mesh Storage, Laundry Caddy - $29.00 [ Link ]
This wire basket is just the right size for propping on the back of the toilet. I'd fill it with an extra rolls of toilet paper.
by West Elm
Hand-Forged Iron 3-Piece Toilet Paper Holder by VinTin Welding & Fabricating - $23.50 [ Link ]
Toilet paper holders are right up there with toilet brush holders when it comes to being difficult to find. I like the simple lines and small size of this hand-forged holder.

Hand-Forged Iron Industrial-Style Towel Holder by VinTin Welding & Fabricating - $35.00 [ Link ]
The larger cousin of the toilet paper holder, this towel rack is just as understated and lovely.

Tub Brush - $24.00 [ Link ]
If I'm going to be taking a proper bath, you can bet your bottom dollar that I'd like for it to be in a clean tub. I think the scrubbing would be considerably more tolerable with this handsome brush.
by Brook Farm General Store
Schoolhouse Laundry Bag - $45.00 [ Link ]
I don't have the space for a proper hamper in my tiny apartment, so I keep the laundry in a bag for toting to the laundromat. This handled sack would look neat and clean hanging from the bathroom door.
by Schoolhouse Electric
Natural Sea Sponge - $12.00 [ Link ]
Have you ever used a natural sea sponge? They're incredible and so much better than any synthetic bath scrubber I've found. Happily, this one has also been sustainably harvested.

All-Natural Rose Geranium & Hibiscus Moisturizing Shampoo - $23.00 [ Link ]
If you're in the process of spiffing up your bathroom, I think it's only fitting that your bottles of shampoo and conditioner are also easy on the eyes. This rose geranium and hibiscus moisturizing shampoo looks as pretty as I'm sure it smells.

Small Rope Canister by Pigeon Toe Ceramics - $74.00 [ Link ]
Medicine bottles and hair elastics like nice spots to hang out too. I think these simple white canisters would look at home in the kitchen or in the bathroom.
by Etsy
Medium Leather Bin by Gildem - $35.00 [ Link ]
Bathrooms can quickly become crowded. I'd love to wrangle my bottles and brushes into a convenient bin like this one.
by Etsy
Goat Hair Face Brush - CAD 18.00 [ Link ]
I'd take this goat hair face brush over a fancy battery-operated version any day.
by Mjölk
Towel Hanger - $37.80 [ Link ]
This simple wire towel hanger is such a nice solution for a bathroom that lacks the wall space for a larger rack.
by Everyday Needs
'Begin' Porcelain Cup by Rae Dunn - $52.00 [ Link ]
I like to keep a small cup in the bathroom for rinsing out my mouth after I've brushed my teeth. This little cup — marked "begin" — seems like just the right thing to use in my morning routine.

aeykelbo No bath pillow? I've got no lip/ledge on my tub, so I'd like one like this from Restoration Hardware.

mikaela_jade I know one item in my bathroom that just oozes luxury more than anything else...... Jo Malone Bath Oil!

Cozy Casita Sorry, but I can't see anything special about the medicine cabinet .. apart from its ridiculously high price ! But I can see a new business opportunity for wire coat-hanger benders out there .... couple of quick twists, call it a 'Towel Hanger' and charge $37.50 more than the raw materials cost you .. You should be rich in no time !

Rustic Wood Studio If your decorating tastes include a Western, Southwestern, or mountain lodge flair, consider hand-carved switch plates and outlet covers from www.rusticwoodstudio.com

misswed Good grief! They're all very pretty, but ridiculously expensive! $16 for a toilet brush? $24 for a scrubbing brush?? $548 for a medicine cabinet! $45 for a very simple cotton drawstring bag?! I think I need to start a new business making drawstring bags... :)

jon0249 Rustic Wood Studio: "Hand carved"... really? Would that be the hand that presses the "on" button of the computerized milling machine? Goodness. Am I alone, or does anyone else grow weary of the misleading claims that a mass produced item is something made personally for me? If my company's software has "hand-written" source code, can I charge more for it?

Melony Young I'm sorry but $500+ for a medicine cabinet made of wood? My husband can make that exact cabinet for under $30 in materials....including the $5 knob.

Reading My Tea Leaves Hi there! Thanks for chiming in everyone! I know some of the products on this list have high price points, but I hope it provides some good inspiration for thrift store treasure hunts and DIY riffs on the same theme! @Melony, wish I could convince my landlord to hire your husband to build us a cabinet!

jon0249 Erin, I gotta hand it to you - you certaily have a great attitude. Thankless job, and you do it with class. Keep up the goo work. And inspiration is definitely a takeaway for me!

Melony Young Erin, he would gladly do it if you were in Texas. lol

j0dy I agree with a lot of you here too. It's way too expensive for all of this. Mostly the hanger that is just twisted metal. Silly to me.

Rustic Wood Studio Jon0249 I assume you've had bad experiences with product misrepresentation, given your comments. Yes, I use a router to mill the switch holes and screw holes from behind because of the precision required, but everything you see in the picture is hand-carved. Sorry to disappoint!

You are more than welcome to stop by my studio in Phoenix and watch me make my plates. Takes about an hour per plate, so make sure you reserve sufficient time.
