pauli12 I love the clipboards and clips too. I love anything that is fluid and changeable.
Like the chalk boards and bulletin boards... they can be changed at a whim to project your current thinking and likes, moods and are so useful for notes and reminders.
I have been wanting to put a chalkboard on my front porch to write meaningful notes; scripture, quotes, gardening plans... whatever. Good ideas! Thanks.

I have added some of my favorite wall displays. I love my old black frame. I change it out when the mood strikes. Right now I have my grandma's flour sack displayed in it. The green frame is also used for changing out whatever is important at the moment. The turquoise frame has one of my father's old pieces of music from 1927.

Elaina Verhoff Thank you so much for sharing your display, Pauli12. Now that's a wall with meaning!

cillisa Ironically enough, that Oregon print with the heart reminds me that Valentine's Day (today!) is the anniversary of my state's being accepted into the Union. Yay, Oregon!

Elaina Verhoff How funny, cillisa! Happy Anniversary to Oregon! Today (Valentine's Day) is my home state, Arizona's, anniversary too. Go state pride!

calkelley I love clocks too. My favorite? I bought one that not only has the numbers in reverse (11 at the one spot, 3 at the 9 spot) but it runs backwards! First had it on a wall in the kitchen and directly across was the reflective face of the microwave - I could just look there for reading it. At my last house, I just put it above a desk in the kitchen and as it was the only non-digital clock and one I saw all the time, had a hard time reading regular ones!

Great ideas here.

Elaina Verhoff Thanks calkelley! I think a backwards clock would drive me a little crazy. I already have trouble getting anywhere on time!

Becky Neville I recently decorated my office with clipboards and botanical drawings. http://thoughtsfromadaughteroftheking.blogspot.com/2012/08/clipboard-wall-art.html

Julia Hayes First of all, my daughter's name is Elaina! :)
Also, this is exactly the idea I'm trying to execute above my computer desk. I just finally bought the perfect clock and am looking for a bulletin board to add. Thanks for the other ideas. I especially like the galvanized envelope.

Elaina Verhoff Hi Julia! I love hearing your daughter's name is Elaina. I don't come across too many Elaina's (as you're probably aware!). Please share a pic of your wall when you put it up. Hopefully it will motivate me to hang my own collected items above my computer desk!
(The site that sells the galvanized envelope is having some issues, so I found another source: http://www.valhallalaser.com/-galvanized-tin-envelope-p124.php)

Jan I'm so glad I'm not the only one that insists a clock look a certain way and make me happy when I look at it!

Elaina Verhoff Absolutely! Life's too short to not love your clock!

Becky Neville I never thought I would beat Martha Stewart to the punch, but this month she had a feature in her mag that looks very much like my wall....hmmmm.

Fl!p Breskin My living room walls hold a collection of musical instruments that we actually play. It's a combination of beautiful craft and "tool chest." My other favorite display wall is a window. We're in the process of enlarging the windows and making them work better for displaying glassware. Which I also use daily. I have more photos of that project (and others) here:
