Dog's Ear, Going to the Chapel, Baby's Bottom and Dangerous Robot. No, these aren't movies, cocktails or novels — they're actual names of colors of paint for the home. (See the last two here and here.) Clever and sometimes odd names may or may not describe hues best, but they're always fun. So we decided to make up a few paint names of our own. (Warning: Some may describe their hues a little too accurately.)

Gracie, I did try a colour recently that would probably be your dog door, it was called Puddle. Note I "tried" it - I didn't use it.
My favorite colour name is Original Cinnamon...... (Say it out loud, you'll get it).

I'm going to try to get more pictures today.
Attached is the before pic. The roof and ceiling are fixed and wood floor refinished. Light fixture installed. Working on cleaning stone. Needs window treatment. These are lovely old single pane windows which I plan to keep, so need something to close at night. Hopefully within the year.
Once, choosing paint for a bedroom, I couldn't make up my mind between Nantucket Fog and some other shade of blue, I was going back and forth between the two. When I asked the salesperson to pullup the stats on the paint, he said "They are exactly the same color, but with different names". He said a lot of companies do this. ( I must have really liked the blue)!
