Rustic Wood Cake Stand by Roxy Heart Vintage - $45.00 [ Link ]
Time to go back to nature. I'm in love with this rustic "tree slice" cake stand. The maker will even hand-carve and burn any personal message, initials or dates onto the stand.

Beehive Cake Stand - $39.00 [ Link ]
I adore this beehive lid. It looks like something straight out of Winnie the Pooh.
by West Elm
Woodland Keepers Cake Stand by Patina Vie - $58.00 [ Link ]
What a shabby chic find. It has a vintage, distressed wood look with a hint of gold, and that pop of robin's egg turquoise is just lovely.

Modern Serveware - $70.00 [ Link ]
Tea party, anyone? Using upside-down tea cups as the pedestals is an example of great detailing.

5-Tiered Cake Stand in Pink Flowers by Elves n Elements - GBP 150.88 [ Link ]
Pretty in pink, this petal-colored, five-tiered, flower-inspired stand would be just the thing to show off some cupcakes or sugar cookies.

Eyelet Cake Plates with Ribbons by Jeanette Zeis Ceramics - $330.00 [ Link ]
This tiered stand reminds me of ribbon and lace. Pretty and sweet, it has the usual prerequisites for a good cake stand.

Janice Minor Cake Stand - $480.00 [ Link ]
This cake stand belongs in a fairy tale. I love how the twig stand is delicate and natural looking, drawing the eye directly to the delectable cake prize under the glass dome.

Classic white scalloped edges make this tiered cake stand one of my favorites.

Small Beaded Edge Cake Stand With Domed Lid - GBP 27.00 [ Link ]
This is a little mini guy. It's just the thing to dress up some mignardises or chocolates. The beaded edge is just adorable.

With its romantic, vintage milk glass with hobnail detail and ruffle edging, this is like everything I love all in one!

Julia Knight Peony Cake Stand - $99.00 [ Link ]
These cake stands have beautifully scalloped edging and are hand-painted with a blend of enamel infused with crushed mother of pearl. I love the combination of colors as well; they're fresh, modern and feminine, but not too frilly.

These yellow baubles are too fun.

Kristin Cupcake Tree by Delightfully Lovely - $50.00 [ Link ]
I've been on a big lime green kick lately. This vibrant color would look great against some vanilla buttercream–frosted goodies. I also dig the playful garland design on this.

Galvanized Tin Pedestal - $32.99 [ Link ]
This galvanized tin pedestal brings a kind of rustic, farmhouse feel to the table. I know this ideabook is all about cake stands, but I'd just as easily slap a cherry pie on this baby.

Etagere 3 Tiers of Chintz Cake Stand by Sip & Savor - $125.00 [ Link ]
If you were looking for a reason to throw a garden party or host high tea with the ladies, this is it. When not in use for delicate tasty bites, I would use this to hold my jewelry.
by Etsy
Wire Cupcake Stand - $34.95 [ Link ]
This is a versatile serving piece for sweets, hors d'oeuvres or fruit. The elegant wirework reminds me of doilies. I like that.

scarbowcow I love the beehive-shaped cake stand. It's no longer available on West Elm, of course. The Mormons sell an ugly one (bronze or something base and finial at the top- too heavy-looking), but it costs over $100. Isn't that just the way? When I want something I absolutely have no room for and no immediate use for, and I just LOVE it - can't buy it.

Lily Gahagan Hi scarbowcow,

I'm not sure if you're near a West Elm store, but if so I'd suggest going in to see if they still have them in stock. I was in one last weekend and they definitely still had that beautiful cake stand available!

scarbowcow I'm in central Europe... another factor that helps me not buy things I love! Somebody up there wants me to save money, I guess.

Stephanie Hua Aw, well, one last shot, you could try calling/skyping a store and asking if they have it in stock and would be able to ship it. Last month I was crazy over a few cutting boards that were no longer available online but called West Elm and they were able to find a store for me that could ship it. Good luck, scarbowcow!

Denise Posey Does anybody know if they make a square cake stand, that also has a cover?

shakalaka I just bought one (actually a set of two, different sizes) just like that white milk glass stand from Costco: $20 I'm feeling pretty good about my purchase about now. Even though I think supporting smaller businesses is great, sometimes the price difference is too much.
