We typically advise against the "tropical" species for a variety of reasons.
However, although it's just an educated guess... I think the pic is walnut.
Although WE didn't produce this particular product (pictured), we work extensively with Black Walnut (domestic), which in my humble opinion, is unequaled for natural beauty as well as predictablity & versatility. As a matter of fact, that style & color is very similar to one of our most popular offerings.
