california dreaming - the bedroom
The master bedroom is at the opposite end of the home from the kids bedrooms and has a direct access to the patio and garden. The room features a vaulted ceiling a small "apse" for the homeowner's Buddha stature.
This home was featured on the CBS News Sunday Morning annual design program in the summer of 2010. This show included an interview with Sarah Susanka describing how this home incorporated ideas from her best selling book, "The Not So Big House."
