What Houzz contributors are saying:
9. Make a gratitude tree. Using wooden leaves like the ones shown here or paper leaves you cut yourself, encourage guests to note something they are grateful for on a leaf, then clip the leaves with clothespins to bare branches in a tall vase.

Idea for Thanksgiving: give each guest a leaf or leaves and have them write something they are grateful for and then pin each leaf to tree made of branches in a vase. (can use pins or clothespins). Leaves can be paper.

A centerpiece or decoration that can be set on hall table made of vase w/ twigs and then these leaves that sentiments can be written on. For Christmas/winter, spring, etc., do similar ideas w/ perhaps silver or gold twigs, etc.

I might make these out of brown kraft paper or other scrapbooking paper for my family to write what they are thankful for this year. I have some pretty big maple leaves in my back yard I could use as a pattern.

Great idea for Thanksgiving - do this with colored card stock or construction paper, one color per year so you can tell one year from the next?

Losing my mom this year makes you want to appreciate everyone while they are still with us. It's good for the writer and the receiver as well.

Rustic, modern wooden leaves add a nice touch to tabletops and mantles. They'd also look great tied with string and hung as garlands.

I love these wooden fall leaves — I think they are perfect for adding to your fall decor. They would make great place card holders on a holiday table or on display with pumpkins and gourds.
