Or consider a broad, vertical accent stripe, say 6 feet wide running up wall behind dining table. Think bold, such as black or lime or turquoise. Could be interesting!

powdre I just had all wood floors layed this week, the color I put in was Butterscotch. These look like the same color but a bit darker, might be the lighting. Hope it helps .... and yes, I love my floors!! I'm very happy with the color I chose.

kacurthoys It 's not just the beautiful color, it's also the grain. It looks like quartersawn oak, which is classic but a challenge to find. If anyone knows a good supplier in the DC area, please clue me in!

If you could send a photo to best understand the shape of your pantry is, that would be most helpful. As you are looking into the pantry (though you single door, what does the back wall measure, and what is the ceiling height? If that back wall slopes, what are the height differences from left ot right? How deep are the side walls? Do the same for sdie walls as the back.

Ronique Gibson 1.) Go through and purge/throw out old, outdated food.

2.) Sort food by boxed and canned foods in separate areas of the pantry.

3.) Consider using stacking plastic organizers and label with contents. Use these for cereals, crackers, spaghetti and dried goods

4.) Keep heavy items like bottled water, cans and small appliances on the bottom of the pantry for easy access.
