This is wood at the ceiling soffits, but I envision a color of paint (maybe even a shade lighter or darker) on the soffits to make them pop. The style of furniture is too rustic/tropical.

This is almost an identical picture of what is in my three bedroom self contained suite in the house, far removed from the rest of absolute privacy. I may rent it out or just use it for my guests. I would like to revamp it, if you will, and appreciate your comments. Softer flow and lines perhaps??
