I see a trend toward using medallion knobs to hold up window treatments. If it is the little details that make the biggest difference, than I think these medallions put this room over the top!

The manner in which these curtains are hung is very interesting. The knobs create a great pattern and the curtains are suspended from them.

Green grasscloth wall covering sets the backdrop for this vibrant kitchen and family room of a southern estate. A dinette area was created using a dark lacquered pedestal table and white enameled handcrafted bamboo side chairs upholstered in a modern houndstooth pattern. Green linen upholstered barstools and soft damask button-tufted sofa complement the color scheme. Pops of color were created using vibrant accent pillows and flocked silk draperies tied on iron medallions. A lively area for a large busy family!
