Pure 60s POP! I love that grass-green colour that pervades the space. And what an absolutely amazing rug! It has an incredibly distinctive shape, and the pattern of that shape just rhythmically repeats in & out. It could *almost* be a simple tribal pattern... but the scale & colour & simplicity of it brings it into the modern era. All of the surfaces on the furnishings are simple & minimal... yet also, quite unique. I absolutely love everything about the bed! The legs are 50s-60s Jetson-style... but take a look at that headboard! Even though there are those 'button-tufting' details, the scale & proportion of it makes it entirely modern! In fact, the proportions of ALL the furnishings in this bedroom are quite wonderful! And what a great sculpture on top of the dresser!

A green bed, a bold green and white patterned rug and a modern high glossy green dresser -- why do they work so well? For one reason, they are the same shade of green. And another, that same color is similar to the trees and plants, almost pulling them into the room, making it feel like the room is outside.
