We use this stone all of the time for clients who want marble but don't want the upkeep. Looks great with Calacatta marble as well.
We actually had this stone in a previous kitchen and it held up (and continues to hold up) very well. Nice neutral beige which works well with a multi-color wall tile, like a glass mosaic.
Absolute black looks fabulous with a honed finish. Only when it is honed do you get to see the subtle beauty that this stone has to offer.
