1-Two-Tree Trimming

My family contacted Mr. Elwood for an estimate regarding tree work that was needed. After mainly positive reviews online, and a neighbor previously using the company we decided to request an estimate. He came to our home, provided an estimate for the work, and proceeded to have a friendly conversation afterwards. All seemed fine. I am a numbers persons, so I took notes down while Mr. Elwood gave the estimate then had his estimate that we asked him to write as well. My numbers were off from the estimate, and I was just hoping to have clarity as at that time we did schedule him to come back a few days later. He said to email or call if we had any questions, so since I did end up having a question I sent an email. The email correspondence was very unexpectedly rude from Mr. Elwood. He made me feel incompetent, and truly insulted me by stating in the email "we discussed multiple variables to fit into your apparently limited budget". We had not even discussed a top budget, and had actually told him how reasonable his prices seemed compared to other estimates we got. I saved the email correspondence, which I still have, and had friends review what I wrote and his response to see if it was just me, but they agreed it came back as if I was a waste of his time. It was very hurtful and disappointing, and we cancelled the work. I would rather pay more to someone who will be courteous, and willing to address questions in a noninsulting manner. This has been embarrassing in how he spoke with us, and the neighbor that had used him was shocked as well. We won't recommend him, and we will not use his service. The intent of this is to hopefully have Mr. Elwood realize that how you correspond in an email is just as important as when you are face to face. We hope others won't be made to feel like a waste of time.

Hired Robert for several years Two times pipes in our sprinkler system were broken by their crew. This last time they killed two 10 year old rose bushes. Their fee was over $1000. We asked them to replace these two gorgeous bushes...no response.

Robert was very nice to work with and offered a fair price for trimming a very tall Palm Tree. I wasn't here when the Palm was trimmed, but came home and the tree was trimmed professionally. All Palm branches were removed and hauled away. Even some hanging branches that were at the very top and Robert had forgotten to mention to have those cut. But his employee did this on his own which is what I had wanted to begin with. That's a professional ! Thank you Robert, I will keep you in mind if friends ask and if we have additional tree trimming needed.

I couldn't be happier. I had a small job of cleaning up some trees and getting some branches from touching the roof. They provided free consultation, great prices, clean up, and great customer service. Will use again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Robert and his team arrived on time, and worked diligently to get the job done as discussed. Very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional at all times. His prices were very reasonable, and included cleanup and hauling all off so it was a completely done job like he was never there, except for the great results! I have recommended him to friends and he did a great job for them as well. Finally, I found a reliable tree trimming service that is affordable and professional that I can use every year.

Robert and his crew are outstanding. Their work is great, their prices are fair and they listen to the customer. I have referred 1-Two-Tree Trimming numerous times and have always received great responses to their work.

I saw an article that Robert had written concerning oak wilt in the March issue of Canyon Lake Views so I decided to hire him to clean up the tress on my acre lot in Spring Branch. He did a great job of listening to me describe what I wanted and then asked questions to be sure he understood what I wanted before he quoted a price for the work. I thought the price was very reasonable so I hired him. A week later when he and his crew arrived at the site, Robert and his foreman walked the site with me again so that everybody understood what was to be done. He and his crew were there a day and a half. Upon completion Robert asked me to walk the site with him one final time to be sure that I was satisfied with everything they had done. I was very pleased with the work they did, especially the thinning out of branches on some of the larger oaks so that some light would get to the grass in my yard. I would recommend Robert to anyone needing some tree trimming.

Excellent service and work. Robert is very organized and always on time. As a professional remodeler we use tree services often and found these guys are the best and offer a lot of value in their pricing. They are definitely our go to company for all our tree trimming.

I hired 1-Two-Tree Trimming to trim back a sizable hedge of Red Tips that had gotten a bit out of control. Robert and his assistant did a great job trimming them exactly as I wanted and then hauled away all the trimmings. They were both friendly and courteous, and Robert provided some good advice on keeping them in shape as well as on taking care of my other shrubs and trees. The price quoted was very reasonable, and it was the price I was ultimately charged. I was very happy with the work done and will hire 1-Tow-Tree trimming again the next time I need trees or shrubs trimmed.
